Pantothenic Acid
Also called vitamin B5, pantothenic acid is necessary to human life, and is a
component of coenzyme A, a
molecule that participates in
numerous chemical reactions in
cells. It helps to metabolize
carbohydrates, proteins, and
fats, as well as the synthesis
of hormones and cholesterol.
Helps regulate gene expression
and aids in the synthesis and
catabolism of fatty acids.
